Can parents or siblings stay in the building?
With the goal of fostering teens' independence and social connections, co-op is drop-off only. Younger siblings and parents may not stay on campus. Parents may volunteer for various positions as they are needed, but our emphasis is on making this a teen-friendly space.
How rigorous & academic are your classes?
How rigorous & academic are your classes?
Our primary goal is creating social opportunities, connection, and exploration. Classes are parent-led, interest-based, and not rigorous. Teens will learn new skills and knowledge, but most importantly, they will meet other teens with similar interests, in a space where they are allowed to just be themselves.
Are you a religious group? Do you require a statement of faith?
Are you a religious group? Do you require a statement of faith?
We are not a religious group. We welcome teens of all faiths (and non-religious teens too). Though we are renting space from a church, we are not affiliated with them or their activities. All are welcome.
If you aren't religious, why is your co-op held at a church?

St. Andrews is a welcoming, beautiful space that graciously supports us and celebrates the diversity of our teens, in all its forms. The space is perfect for our co-op, and we make sure that while the beliefs of all of our teens are respected, no one is pressured into any belief system. If you have concerns about the location of co-op, please reach out to the leadership team - we would love to connect with you about this.

We always welcome ideas, as well as volunteers & teachers! Co-op Leadership would love to hear from you. We may not be able to accommodate all ideas/schedules, but please contact us.
